Paralympians Shine at Khelo India Para Games with Record-Breaking Feats
Seema Rani and Jhandu Kumar set new national records at the Khelo India Para Games. Paralympian Mona Agarwal excelled with gold in the mixed 50m prone event, while Rajasthan's Nihal Singh topped the 25m pistol SH1. Haryana leads the medal tally with 29 gold medals.

Punjab powerlifter Seema Rani made headlines at the Khelo India Para Games by setting a new national record with a lift of 97kg in the women's elite 61kg category. Meanwhile, Bihar's Jhandu Kumar showcased extraordinary strength, lifting 206kg in the men's elite 72kg class.
The shooting events at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range were dominated by Paralympians. Mona Agarwal, a bronze medallist from the Paris Paralympics, clinched gold in the mixed 50m prone SH1 class with a score of 243.3. In addition to this, she had already secured two silver medals in the women's 10m air rifle standing SH1 and the mixed 10m air rifle prone SH2 categories.
Nihal Singh of Rajasthan, who also qualified for the Paris Paralympics, proved his prowess once again by retaining his gold medal in the mixed 25m pistol SH1 event. Currently, Haryana leads the medals tally with 29 golds, closely trailed by Tamil Nadu with 24 and Rajasthan with 22.
