In a shocking turn of events, Bangladesh's Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, has expressed concern for the health of former national cricket captain Tamim Iqbal after he suffered a serious heart attack during a match at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP-3) ground in Savar on Monday.

Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, speaking on behalf of the Chief Adviser, conveyed their inquiries to Bangladesh Cricket Board CEO Nizam Uddin Chowdhury. Chowdhury confirmed that Iqbal was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where an angiogram was performed to assess his condition.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board remains in constant contact with Tamim's doctors, ready to provide any necessary support. According to Montu Dutta, BKSP's chief cricket coach, Iqbal had driven himself to the hospital despite feeling unwell. Medical staff confirmed that quick actions and coordination facilitated Tamim's treatment, describing his condition as stable yet critical.
