Former Indian wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik acknowledged the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday for its transformative impact on Indian cricket. He noted that the league has elevated the sport to a level where India can field two to three national teams simultaneously, each of commendable quality.

Speaking with Mo Bobat, Director of Cricket at Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and ex-England cricketer Isa Guha, at the Padukone Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, Karthik praised the IPL for altering the mindset and enriching the infrastructure of Indian cricket.
