In a thrilling highlight of the Table Tennis Super League (TTSL) Maharashtra auction, 14-year-old Divyanshi Bhowmick took center stage by becoming the most expensive player, joining the PBG Pune Jaguars for Rs. 82,000. Her dual gold performances at the WTT Youth Contender Vadodara underlie her exceptional talent.

Among other notable transactions, 19-year-old Jash Modi, fresh from defeating Sathiyan Gnanasekaran to clinch the 38th National Games men's singles gold, was signed by Bayside Spinners TT for Rs. 81,000. Complementing the league's competitive edge, Deepit Patil joined Phantom Stars for Rs. 74,500, and Commonwealth Games gold medalist Sanil Shetty moved to Mumbai Mozartt for Rs. 73,000.

The auction, hosted at NSCI Mumbai, assembled mixed teams entailing veterans and youth like Prateek Tulsani, while setting the stage for the league fights from April 3-6. The Ultimate Table Tennis initiative effectively marries experience and fresh talent, strengthening Maharashtra's table tennis standing nationally and internationally.
