In a night tinged with nostalgia, the West Indies Masters emerged triumphant, securing a place in the semifinals of the International Masters League 2025. Powered by Lendl Simmons' spectacular century, Brian Lara's vintage performance, and Ravi Rampaul's five-wicket blitz, they claimed a decisive 29-run victory over South Africa Masters.

Confronted by the formidable South African attack, which included seasoned campaigners Jacques Kallis and Makhaya Ntini, the Caribbean team showcased their renowned flair. Simmons' explosive 108 and Lara's graceful 29, complemented by Chadwick Walton's unbeaten 38, guided the team to a commanding total of 200/5 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium.

Despite South Africa's spirited chase, West Indies' bowlers, led by Rampaul, turned the tide. Rampaul's incisive spell dismantled South Africa's middle order, claiming five crucial wickets, including that of Kallis. The match concluded with South Africa at 171/8, bringing an end to their campaign and reinforcing the Caribbean legacy.
