The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has responded swiftly to a security breach that saw a spectator entering the field during the New Zealand-Bangladesh match at the ICC Champions Trophy at Rawalpindi Stadium.
Emphasizing player and official safety, the PCB engaged local security agencies to bolster security personnel and tighten access control at all venues.
The individual, who attempted to approach player Rachin Ravindra, was immediately detained and has been permanently banned from all Pakistani cricket venues as the board reviews its security protocols.
