A FIFA employee, identified as Jack Coles, has been arrested in Miami over accusations of having sexual relations with an underage boy during a business trip. The arrest came after federal agents from Homeland Security led a detainment operation at a Coral Gables hotel near FIFA's U.S. headquarters.

According to sources, Coles, aged 39 and a British national, is connected with FIFA Sound, the department responsible for music coordination across FIFA events. Allegations suggest he met a 14-year-old boy on a men's dating app and attempted another meeting last week. The boy was found to have been involved with federal investigators, leading to Coles' arrest.

FIFA, in response to these developments, acknowledged the legal case in Miami but refrained from commenting further. This incident comes at a time when the soccer organization is expanding operations in the U.S., gearing up for significant tournaments, including the Club World Cup and the men's 2026 World Cup.
