The 'Fit India Sundays on Cycle' initiative continues to build momentum, now featuring participation from Indian Army jawans and wrestler Sangram Singh in a campaign against drugs. The event is set for the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium on Sunday.

Initially launched by Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the movement seeks to merge fitness with environmental sustainability. Sangram Singh, an acclaimed Indian mixed martial arts fighter and former Commonwealth heavyweight wrestling champion, is among the key figures supporting the initiative.

The upcoming event will see more than 500 cyclists take to the roads, including campers from the Sports Authority of India and senior figures from various cycling clubs in New Delhi. Past events have drawn participation from over 2800 locations, featuring entities like the Central Reserve Police Force and Indo-Tibetan Border Police, all echoing a united call for health and clean air. Organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the Cycling Federation of India, and MY Bharat, the campaign runs nationwide through various sports centers.
