Pumas Prepare for England's Return to South America

Argentina's national rugby team, the Pumas, is gearing up to welcome England and Uruguay for a series of matches this coming July. This announcement was made on Thursday, a notable event as it marks the first time the English team will set foot on South American soil in seven years.

The competition begins with an international face-off against the British & Irish Lions in Dublin on June 20. Following this, the Pumas will engage in a two-match series against a relatively depleted English side, as their primary players will be on the British & Irish tour in Australia. The first of these matches takes place on July 5 in La Plata, followed by another on July 12 in San Juan.

These highly anticipated matches come on the heels of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, where Argentina had memorable games against England. The series will wrap up with a match against Uruguay on July 19, as part of the Banco Macro Visa Cup. The venue for this concluding match remains undetermined.
