Celebrating Telangana's Sporting Achievements

In a notable acknowledgment for sportspersons from Telangana, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has lauded para athlete Jeevanji Deepthi, a recipient of the Arjuna Award, while pledging state support for sports infrastructure development.

The CM announced the establishment of a 'Young India Sports University' along with sports complexes across the state to bolster local talent. Furthermore, he recalled the state's incentive for Deepthi, offering a Group-2 services job and residential land in Warangal.

Among those celebrated were D Gukesh, Manu Bhaker, Harmanpreet Singh, and Praveen Kumar, who all received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna awards. Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy also praised these athletes, emphasizing their inspirational impact on young sports enthusiasts nationwide.
