Tamil Nadu Athletes Shine with National Sports Awards 2024

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin congratulated athletes from the state for being chosen for prestigious national sports awards. Gukesh, Tulasimathi, Nithya Sre, Manisha Ramadoss, and Abhay Singh will be honored for elevating Tamil Nadu to a global level in sports.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin extended his congratulations to athletes from the state who have been selected for the prestigious national sports awards announced by the Union Youth Affairs & Sports Ministry.

Expressing his delight, the Chief Minister highlighted that the awards elevate Tamil Nadu's sports department to an international stature. He praised the athletes, including D Gukesh, recipient of the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, and Arjuna Awardees Tulasimathi, Nithya Sre, Manisha Ramadoss, and Abhay Singh.

Stalin expressed optimism for the future, hoping for continued success and record-breaking achievements from Tamil Nadu athletes. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 17, with the President of India presenting the honors.
