Carlos Sainz, a celebrated figure in the motorsport world, is gearing up to make history once again at the Dakar Rally. At 62, the experienced rally driver is set to compete in the grueling two-week race across Saudi Arabia with a new team, Ford, after his previous team, Audi, withdrew from the competition.
The rally spans an arduous 8,000 kilometers from its start in Bisha to the finish line in Shubaytah, featuring a marathon stage and a 971-kilometer Chrono stage.
