The Hockey India League 2025 witnessed an electrifying contest on New Year's Eve as Hyderabad Toofans faced Delhi SG Pipers. Amandeep Lakra and Gonzalo Peillat powered Toofans with an early advantage, scoring in the 11th and 13th minutes respectively. Yet, the determined Pipers struck back through Dilraj Singh and Gareth Furlong, equalizing the game 2-2 by the 50th minute.
