Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev delivered a composed display, overcoming Australia's Alex de Minaur at the ATP Finals' men's singles matches on Tuesday. Medvedev, seeded fourth, secured a 6-2, 6-4 victory, earning his seventh win against De Minaur, compared to three defeats. His performance was close to flawless against De Minaur, as he did not concede any break points while hitting 24 winners to his opponent's 10.

Medvedev stressed the importance of blocking out distractions after his match, saying, "I ignored all the noise, even from myself, to focus on my game," according to the ATP website. "After losing to Taylor Fritz, I was too mentally drained to compete like I normally do. Today, I just aimed to execute my shots well, thinking ahead to next year".

Meanwhile, German contender Alexander Zverev launched his pursuit for a third ATP Finals title by defeating Andrey Rublev 6-4, 6-4 in Turin. This victory marked Zverev's 67th win of the season, highlighting his strong form. Commenting on his performance, Zverev remarked, "Against anyone here, you must be solid and mentally resilient. I managed to use my chances effectively today, and I am pleased with my win," according to the ATP website.
