The Jaipur Open 2024, a key fixture of the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), is set to unfold at the historical Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur from November 13 to November 16. This prestigious tournament carries a prize purse of Rs 1 crore, attracting a formidable lineup of 126 participants, including 123 seasoned professionals and three promising amateurs. The excitement will peak with the Pro-Am event scheduled for November 17.
Highlighting India's golfing prowess, the tournament boasts renowned names such as PGTI Ranking leader Veer Ahlawat, past champion Om Prakash Chouhan, Udayan Mane, and Rashid Khan. The roster also includes international talents like Stepan Danek from the Czech Republic, Bangladesh's Jamal Hossain, and Sri Lanka's N Thangaraja, alongside contenders from Japan, Canada, and the United States. Local talent shines through Jaipur professionals Vishal Singh and Girraj Singh Khadka, among others.
Ravi Jain, Secretary Tourism of Rajasthan, underscores the significance of the tournament, stating that it bolsters Rajasthan's profile as a hub for golf tourism.
