Amidst heightened tensions following recent violence against Israeli soccer fans, Paris police announced an extensive security operation for the upcoming France-Israel UEFA Nations League match. Set for Thursday, the high-risk event will see the deployment of 4,000 officers and 1,600 stadium staff.
Paris police chief Laurent Nuñez emphasized the importance of the event's security, noting that authorities 'won't tolerate' any violence. The Stade de France, located north of Paris, will have 2,500 officers on-site, with an additional 1,500 patrolling the city and public transportation.
