India Shines at World University Shooting Championship with Gold Haul
India secured a significant victory at the World University Shooting Championship, winning five medals on the second day. The air pistol mixed team of Palak Gulia and Amit Sharma claimed gold, while individuals like Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar added silver to the tally. Neeru and Kirti Gupta also excelled in women's trap.

In an impressive display of skill and precision, the Indian team clinched five medals on the second day of the World University Shooting Championship, including a standout gold from the air pistol mixed team duo of Palak Gulia and Amit Sharma.
The pair managed a victory against fellow Indians Sainyam and Samrat Rana, with a score of 16-12, securing the top two positions for India at the Karni Singh Range. Meanwhile, the bronze went to the Hungarian duo Sara Rahel Fabian and Redecsi Mate, who defeated Chinese-Taipei 16-12.
The championship is a gathering of 220 shooters from 23 countries, and India continues to shine brightly as it hosts the event at the Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies.
