Cricket Clash: Australia vs Sri Lanka in Galle

Sri Lanka's Galle International Stadium is set to be the battleground for an exciting two-test cricket series against Australia, scheduled for late January to early February next year, announced the country's cricket board on Friday.
The contest, integral to the ICC World Test Championship cycle for 2023-25, sees Australia currently second in the rankings behind India, while Sri Lanka occupies the third spot. The Australian team previously toured Sri Lanka in 2022, leading to memorable outcomes in all formats.
The upcoming series will feature the first test commencing on January 29, and the second on February 6, both in Galle. The teams will converge again for a One-Day International on February 13, with the venue yet to be disclosed.
