In a shocking incident, masked burglars invaded the home of England's test captain, Ben Stokes, earlier this month while he was on tour in Pakistan. Stokes revealed that his wife and young children were present during the break-in but fortunately remained unharmed.
The robbery occurred on October 17, coinciding with England's second test match against Pakistan. Among the items stolen were Stokes's OBE medal, precious jewelry, and other valuables. Stokes has since shared images of the stolen possessions in hopes that the public can help identify the culprits.
Expressing deep concern, Stokes stated that, despite the lack of physical injury, the crime has significantly affected his family's emotional and mental well-being. They are grateful for their safety but remain distressed by the potential danger they faced.
