Jayashree, the only archer from Tamil Nadu selected for the four-member Indian team, will compete in the 'Compound' archery category. This style utilizes a compound bow, differing from traditional recurve or longbows. Her selection by The Archery Association of Tamilnadu (TAAT) highlights her exceptional skills.
Mr. Kumar Rajendran, President of TAAT, praised Jayashree's dedication, noting her extensive training. Meanwhile, Jayashree expressed her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity, aiming to make a lasting impression and promote archery in India. Her proficiency goes beyond archery, as she also runs an online art company, JJ Studios.
