India Set for Esports Revolution: SOGF Partners with IESF

The Skillhub Online Games Federation (SOGF) announced on Thursday a strategic partnership with the International Esports Federation (IESF) to introduce global esports tournaments to the Indian market.
Amidst India's growing prominence as a key player in esports, highlighted by its inclusion in the 2023 Asian Games roster, SOGF plans to host International Esports Championships soon. The collaboration with the IESF marks a significant step toward achieving this ambition.
SOGF representatives, along with IESF's general secretary Boban Totovski, met with Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to discuss the expansion of esports in India. Reflecting on the government's support, SOGF president Shankar Aggarwal noted the potential for this alliance to transform India's esports landscape.
