The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), in collaboration with J&K Tourism, is set to host the fourth edition of the J&K Open at the scenic Jammu Tawi Golf Course. The tournament, scheduled for Wednesday to Saturday, features a substantial prize purse of Rs 50 lakh. A Pro-Am event will be held on October 27, supported by J&K Tourism and the venue itself.

Jammu and Kashmir, famed for its breathtaking landscapes, is home to renowned tourist spots including the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple and Patnitop. The tournament is part of J&K Tourism's initiative to enhance golf tourism across its world-class courses like Jammu Tawi Golf Course and Royal Springs Golf Course.

Noteworthy talents such as Shaurya Binu and Olympian Udayan Mane are set to compete, alongside international challengers including Czech Stepan Danek and Americans Dominic Piccirillo. Authorities including Yasha Mudgal and Vivekanand Rai emphasized the event's role in promoting local culture and heritage through supplementary activities like a Dogra food festival.
