Joseph Suaalii, the latest big signing from rugby league to rugby union, is on the cusp of his debut for the Wallabies. Named in Joe Schmidt's 34-man squad, the 21-year-old is touted to play either in the centres or outside backs during the impending end-of-season tour.

Schmidt, addressing the media in Sydney, emphasized the rationale behind Suaalii's integration into the squad, citing the benefits of exposure to the Wallabies' environment over the Australia XV tour.
