In a gripping encounter at the Pro Cricket League, the Faridabad Sledgehammers Knights triumphed over the Gurugram Patriots with a 5-wicket win. Opting to field first after winning the toss, the Knights put early pressure on the Patriots, according to the Pro Cricket League's press release.

Sharad Lumba stood out with a sensational 140-run innings off just 69 balls, including 16 fours and 9 sixes, almost single-handedly propelling the Patriots to 188/9. Despite his efforts, only the openers reached double digits, as highlighted in the press release. In response, the Knights had a shaky start but were steered to victory by Rahul Dagar's unbeaten 78 off 47 balls. Mahesh Rawat and Udit Mohan provided essential support with 30 runs each, concluding the innings at 189/5 with 8 balls remaining, securing a thrilling win.

The day's second match saw the Ghaziabad Bhawani Tigers display a commanding performance against the Noida Eagles, winning by 83 runs.
