The International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 Team of the Tournament on Monday, with India's Harmanpreet Kaur as the sole representative from her country. Despite India's overall disappointing performance, Kaur distinguished herself as the leading scorer for her team, racking up 150 runs across four innings.

Kaur's brilliant showing included two half-centuries and an impressive average of 150, coupled with a strike rate of 133.92, making her the fifth-best in the tournament. Meanwhile, South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt's consistent top-order presence and Danni Wyatt-Hodge's explosive innings for England were noteworthy contributions.

New Zealand's Melie Kerr was named Player of the Tournament, showcasing her prowess with both bat and ball, leading in wicket-taking, while Deandra Dottin's power-hitting was pivotal for the West Indies. Other key performances came from Bangladesh's keeper-batter Nigar Sultana Joty and New Zealand's compelling pacer Rosemary Mair.
