In a remarkable comeback story, young Delhi cricketer Yash Dhull showcased resilience by scoring an unbeaten century against Tamil Nadu in the Elite Group D Ranji Trophy fixture. His stellar performance on Sunday came months after undergoing heart surgery in July.
Dhull's unbeaten 103 off 189 balls, featuring 11 fours and three sixes, stands as a pivotal innings for Delhi as they trail by 410 runs. Tamil Nadu had posted a formidable 674/6 declared, leaving Delhi in a challenging spot at 264/8.
Despite the minor nature of his heart issue, Dhull explained its significance, saying, "I have seen a lot. Returning to play on such a platform is motivational and positive." Just 22 years old, Dhull continues to inspire, having captained India's winning U19 World Cup squad last year.
