The Pro Cricket League witnessed a thrilling spectacle in New Delhi as the Gurugram Patriots showcased their batting prowess against the Noida Eagles in Game 2. Opting to bowl first, the Eagles were left reeling as the Patriots raced to 76 runs during the powerplay, losing a mere single wicket.

Sharad Lumba electrified the game, hammering a blistering century of 121 off just 46 balls, decorated with 15 fours and 8 sixes. His innings set a rapid pace, and after his departure in the 15th over, the Patriots remained dominant. Manpreet Singh Goni and Bipul Sharma contributed significantly, adding crucial runs and guiding the team to a mammoth 275/5 in 20 overs.

The Eagles began their chase with promise, reaching 38 without loss before the collapse began. Bipul Sharma, continuing his stellar form, took 4 wickets for 15 runs, stalling the Eagles' progress and securing a 122-run victory for the Patriots. Lumba's century earned him the Man of the Match title.

The second encounter saw the Sahgal Delhi Demons face the Rajasthan Kings. After choosing to field, the Kings encountered resistance from the Demons' openers Mustard and Ansari. However, it was Robin Bist's unbeaten 85 from 32 balls that propelled the Demons to an imposing 245/5.

The Kings, led by Saket Sharma's 72-run blitz, remained competitive but the game's climax arrived in the final over. Requiring 6 runs with 2 wickets in hand, the Kings faltered as Ankit Dabas bowled a tight over, conceding just 3 runs. The Demons seized the dramatic 2-run victory.
