CRPC and TNP Triumph on Opening Day of Hockey Championship

On the opening day of the fourth Hockey India Senior Women Inter-Department National Championship, CRPC, TNP, CBD, and SSB secured wins in their respective matches. CRPC beat Central Secretariat, while TNP defeated Sports Authority of Gujarat. CBD and SSB won against UCO Bank and Steel Plant teams.

The fourth Hockey India Senior Women Inter-Department National Championship kicked off with thrilling matches at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPC) showcased their prowess by defeating Central Secretariat 3-1 in Pool A, setting the tone for the championship.

In other matches, Tamil Nadu Police (TNP) narrowly clinched a 3-2 victory against Sports Authority of Gujarat - Hockey Academy in Pool B. The match was closely contested, with both teams displaying commendable skills and teamwork until the final whistle.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBD) dominated UCO Bank Women's Hockey Academy with a remarkable 7-1 win in Pool C. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) also emerged victorious in a tightly contested Pool D encounter, defeating the Steel Plant Sports Board with a score of 3-2.
