Kamran Ghulam, 29, will make his test debut alongside spinners Noman Ali, Zahid Mehmood, and Sajid Khan. This overhaul in strategy comes as Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Sarfaraz Ahmed are also set to rest, providing an opportunity for new talent to shine.

The second test of the three-match series will take place in Multan, maintaining the venue from the previous match. The series is slated to conclude with a third test in Rawalpindi, beginning on October 24.
