Ingale, currently unseeded, now faces a formidable challenge against second-seeded American Jessie Aney, who cruised past wildcard Sahira Singh, conceding just one game. The top seed, Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty, easily advanced past Tanisha Kashyap.
