Revival Slam: Hockey India League Returns with Historic Players' Auction

The Hockey India League is making a momentous comeback after a seven-year hiatus with a much-anticipated players' auction set for October 13 to 15.
This iteration of the league features a groundbreaking expansion, introducing for the first time a women's division alongside the men's competition. Hockey India announced that the auction will commence with the men's teams on October 13 and 14, followed by the women's auction on October 15.
The league has reported an impressive registration of over 1,000 players. Notably, the men's roster includes over 400 domestic players and more than 150 international participants, while the women's lineup features 250 homegrown players and 70 international talents, marking a milestone in the promotion of women's hockey in India.
