The Indian Olympic Association has announced that Uttarakhand will host the 38th National Games, scheduled from January 28 to February 14 next year. The event awaits final approval from the organization's General Assembly on October 25.
IOA President PT Usha expressed excitement about Uttarakhand's commitment to hosting the Games, highlighting it as an essential platform for athletes aiming for international success. The state is also aspiring to host the National Winter Games.
Over 10,000 athletes, officials, and coaches will participate in 38 sports competitions. The National Games aim to provide a world-class sporting experience, while also showcasing Uttarakhand's cultural richness and hospitality, stated Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
