Juergen Klopp Takes Global Helm at Red Bull Soccer

Juergen Klopp has been named as the head of global soccer at Red Bull, the parent company of RB Leipzig, New York Red Bulls, and others, set to begin his role on January 1, 2025. This marks Klopp's first position since departing Liverpool earlier this year.

Klopp's illustrious career at Liverpool concluded last season after nine successful years, during which he secured numerous titles. Though Klopp will take a strategic role, rather than a day-to-day operational one, he will have significant influence over the broad sporting framework at Red Bull's clubs.

In addition to advancing Red Bull's philosophy, Klopp aims to mentor the management and coaches within the organization. Reports suggest his contract may include a future option to coach the German national team, a position he has been linked to given Germany's recent international struggles.
