Cole Palmer has made history as the England men's Player of the Year for the 2023-24 season, as announced by the Football Association. The 22-year-old Chelsea midfielder was chosen by fans, surpassing Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham and Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, the latter of whom had claimed the title for two consecutive years.
Palmer marked his England debut with a decisive 2-0 victory over Malta in November 2023, subsequently earning nine senior caps. His performances included five outings at Euro 2024 and two goals, one being in the final against Spain, and a vital assist in the semi-final versus the Netherlands.
