Veteran Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah has announced his retirement from T20 Internationals, with his final appearance set against India this Saturday in Hyderabad.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the second match against India, Mahmudullah revealed that stepping away from the format is a strategic move pre-decided to enhance his focus on One-Day Internationals.
The 38-year-old cricketer has consummated a remarkable career, boasting 50 Tests, 232 ODIs, and 139 T20Is since his international debut in 2007. Previously, he retired from Test cricket in 2021.
