Breaking into the top ranks, Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur climbed four spots, securing a shared position at 12th in the ICC Women's T20 batting rankings alongside Sri Lanka's Harshitha Samarawickrama.
Pakistan spinner Sadia Iqbal made history as the first from her country to momentarily top the ICC Women's T20 bowling rankings, surpassing long-standing leader Sophie Ecclestone.
The adjustments in ICC rankings, coinciding with the T20 World Cup in the UAE, saw other notable changes. Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, and veteran Deepti Sharma among others experienced shifts in their standings.
