Iga Swiatek, the top-ranked tennis player worldwide, announced her departure from coach Tomasz Wiktorowski after a productive three-year partnership. The Polish athlete, who has clinched multiple Grand Slam titles, expressed her gratitude towards Wiktorowski through an Instagram post.
Wiktorowski, who notably coached Agnieszka Radwanska, joined Swiatek's coaching team in the 2022 season. Together, they achieved remarkable success, with Swiatek winning four out of her five Grand Slam victories under his guidance.
Despite a recent loss in the U.S. Open quarter-finals, Swiatek remains optimistic. She has already begun discussions with potential replacement coaches, considering non-Polish candidates to continue her journey at the pinnacle of tennis.
