MotoGP's New Era: Sterlacchini to Drive Aprilia's Future

Fabiano Sterlacchini, a former KTM technical director, is set to lead Aprilia as their new technical director. His appointment follows Romano Albesiano's move to Honda, an announcement made by the two MotoGP teams on Friday.

Sterlacchini will assume his new role on November 18, coinciding with the conclusion of the season finale at Valencia. The move aligns with Aprilia's strategy to bolster their competitive edge, marked by signing Jorge Martin, the current championship leader, from Pramac Racing.

Meanwhile, Romano Albesiano will undertake his new role at Honda from 2025, confronting the Japanese team's performance struggles since Marc Marquez's last title win in 2019. Honda looks to leverage Albesiano's vast experience to revitalize their MotoGP project.
