Four Indian golfers are poised to make their mark at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, with three of the foursome returning for another shot at the prestigious title. Among them is 14-year-old Kartik Singh, who boasts a confident outlook following his commendable performance at the Junior Presidents Cup.

Vedant Sirohi from Webber International University and Krishnav Nikhil Chopraa, a seasoned player from Long Island, are also back to vie for the championship. The team's sole debutant, Rakshit Dahiya, has already demonstrated his prowess on home grounds with the Indian Golf Union.

The event, established in 2009 by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC), The R&A, and the Masters Tournament, offers luxurious incentives with the champion earning invitations to the 2025 Masters Tournament and the 153rd Open. Kartik's achievements in various junior tournaments and the confidence exuded by his peers set a hopeful tone for the team.

Indian Golf Union President, Brijinder Singh, observed Kartik's practice, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young talent. Meanwhile, Chopraa shared his optimism, reflecting on past experiences and expressing readiness despite limited playtime, underscored by his strong finish at the Porter Cup.
