In a significant showcase of talent, Vaibhav Suryavanshi's quick hundred set the stage for India U19 before the team faltered against Australia's cunning spinners. Suryavanshi, starting the day at 81, completed his century, amassing 104 runs off 62 balls and forming a formidable 133-run opening partnership with Vihaan Malhotra.

Despite the explosive start, India's middle and lower order couldn't capitalize, crumbling to the combined spin attack of Thomas Brown and Vishwa Ramkumar. Resuming at 103/0, India was all out for 296, a mere three runs ahead of Australia's first innings score of 293.

In Australia's second innings, they were 110 for four, with an overall lead of 107 runs. Notable performances included Riley Kingsell's 48 and Oliver Peake's 32, destabilized slightly by India's leg-spinner Mohammed Enaan's two crucial wickets.
