On Tuesday, Hockey India announced a 40-member core probable squad for the senior men's national coaching camp in Bengaluru. This camp is organized to prepare the team for the upcoming two-match home series against world champions Germany.

Scheduled for October 23 and 24 at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, the final team selection will be made from this camp, which will run from October 1 to 19.

Following a successful streak that includes a second consecutive bronze medal at the Paris Olympics and a title defense at the Asian Champions Trophy in China, the focus of the camp will be on enhancing player skills and strategies. India captain Harmanpreet Singh emphasized the importance of this camp in ensuring peak team performance before facing Germany.
