Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will miss Real Madrid's Champions League match at Lille on Wednesday due to a muscle injury.
Following tests conducted on Monday, the club announced Courtois had an abductor injury in his left leg.
Courtois sustained the injury during the 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid in the Spanish league derby on Sunday, where he played the entire match at Metropolitano Stadium.
Madrid began their Champions League title defense with a 3-1 home victory over Stuttgart. Kylian Mbappé, who missed the derby due to a hamstring injury, has been included in Madrid's squad.
