Pune's Jidnyasa Chaudhari and Arpita Ardey secured hard-fought victories in the women's singles first round matches of the Shri Nandu Natekar Memorial Maharashtra State Senior Inter District and State Badminton Championship.
Chaudhari showcased remarkable resilience, coming back after losing the first game to triumph over Raigad's Samprati Pathrabe with scores of 18-21, 21-9, 21-10, advancing to the second round.
Additionally, Ardey conquered Shruti Shankargouda from Sangli 21-17, 16-21, 21-16 in another intense first-round encounter. Greater Mumbai's Naishaa Bhatoye also displayed brilliance, defeating Manasvi Vaidya of Thane 21-5, 21-9.
