The 21-year-old from Chennai marked a significant achievement in his debut international GT racing season and secured a podium finish in the silver class, driving a McLaren Artura GT4 car.

The 21-year-old from Chennai displayed exceptional talent in the last round of the championship, achieving a podium finish in the silver class while driving for the Britain-based motorsports team Race-Lab. Notably, popular Tamil actor Ajith Kumar is set to make his debut in the same category next year.

Sanjay, along with British driver Callum Davies, managed to secure a third-place finish in a McLaren Artura GT4 car—a rare feat for an Indian driver. As the 2022 Indian national champion in the MRF Formula 2000, Sanjay's debut season in international GT racing has been historic, making him the first from Tamil Nadu to complete a whole season in the British GT Championship.
