Emami East Bengal FC has announced the mutual departure of Spanish head coach Carles Cuadrat, following the team's disappointing performance in the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL).
Bino George has been appointed as the interim head coach, stepping in to guide the team through the remainder of the season.
Cuadrat, who took charge of the team in April last year, led East Bengal to a long-awaited Kalinga Super Cup title in January. Despite these successes, the team struggled, finishing ninth in the last ISL season and starting the current season with three consecutive defeats.
