Mominul Haque's fine century propelled Bangladesh to 205 for six in their first innings during lunch on the fourth day of the second Test against India on Monday. Bangladesh resumed their innings at 107 for three after two days of no play owing to a wet outfield.

In the opening session, Bangladesh added 98 runs, losing three wickets. Mominul remained unbeaten on 102 off 176 balls, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz accompanying him on six not out. India's Ravichandran Ashwin and Aksh Deep picked up two wickets each, while Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj claimed one wicket apiece.
