Jay Shah Inaugurates National Cricket Academy, Offers Prayers at Tirumala Tirupati Temple

Jay Shah, ICC Chairman and BCCI Secretary, inaugurated the new National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and sought blessings at the Tirumala Tirupati temple. The new facility, named BCCI Centre of Excellence, aims to nurture future cricketers and advance sports science.

International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary, Jay Shah, offered prayers at the Tirumala Tirupati temple on Sunday. Dressed in traditional attire, Jay Shah sought the deity's blessings, and temple officials honoured him.

Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a manifestation of Lord Vishnu believed to have descended to earth during the Kali Yuga, the temple is often called Kaliyuga Vaikuntha, and the deity is known as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam. Earlier, Jay Shah shared his thoughts on inaugurating the new National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

The BCCI inaugurated the new National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru on Friday. This world-class facility, envisioned by Jay Shah to nurture future cricket talent, will now be known as the BCCI Centre of Excellence.
