Yuvraj Sandhu Shines in Chinese Taipei Golf Tournament
Yuvraj Sandhu finished as the top Indian in tied 23rd place at the Yeangder TPC in Chinese Taipei. Despite a strong start, he slipped in the middle rounds before closing with a 3-under 69. Other Indian golfers also faced challenges, while Thailand's Suteepat Prateeptienchai won the tournament.
Yuvraj Sandhu, who had a strong start to the week, emerged as the leading Indian golfer at the Yeangder TPC in Chinese Taipei, finishing tied for 23rd place after a final round of 3-under 69.
Initially tied for second after a stellar first-round score of 65, Sandhu struggled with scores of 71 and 74 in the subsequent rounds, ultimately closing the tournament with a total of 9-under.
Other Indian participants, including Karandeep Kochhar and Ajeetesh Sandhu, also faced difficulties, ending tied for 32nd place. Thailand's Suteepat Prateeptienchai secured a wire-to-wire victory, concluding the $1 million event at 21-under.
