The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to establish a two-member independent committee to serve as a communication bridge between the national team players, management, and the board.
Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced this move following a day-long cricket connect conference attended by the board's top leadership and foreign coaches Gary Kirsten and Jason Gillespie. During the meeting, players expressed concerns over communication issues with PCB officials, particularly within the international and domestic cricket departments.
Supported by fellow players, captains Shan Masood and Babar Azam highlighted the need for a dedicated conduit to convey their grievances. The newly formed committee aims to function independently to streamline communication and address players' concerns. Furthermore, Naqvi assured the players of no imminent changes in national team captaincy, urging them to focus on building a united environment in the dressing room.
