The NY Lagos Strikers have made a strong start with two consecutive wins, showcasing their character and enthusiasm.

Van der Dussen delivered a stellar performance by scoring a solid half-century against the Bulawayo Brave Jaguars, followed by an unbeaten 81 against the Jo'Burg Bangla Tigers. His key contributions were pivotal in securing victories for the NY Lagos Strikers, establishing him as a critical player in the tournament. Speaking on his performance, van der Dussen credited the competitive bowlers and his ability to gain momentum after navigating challenging conditions early on.

In Season 2's opening half-century, van der Dussen struck an impressive 51 against the Bulawayo Brave Jaguars, forming a crucial 79-run partnership with Avishka Fernando that shifted the match's momentum.
